"When I can help an owner or entrepreneur look up from their desk and see the possibilities, that is exciting. Whether it is selecting a business entity, organizing the enterprise, setting up buy-sell  agreements or negotiating a merger, purchase or sale of a business, I enjoy working with business owners to get the job done."

Jack G. "Chip" Clark, Jr. is a life-long resident of Oklahoma City and dates his family's connection here to "the Run of 1889." Heearned his B.A. degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1966 and his J.D. degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1969. Chip started his law practice in the armed services as a legal officer in the United States Army. He has practiced law in Oklahoma City for the past 38 years, concentrating in the areas of corporate and business planning, probate and guardianships, trusts and estate planning, and public utility regulation. Each situation, business, individual or mixed, has its own particular circumstances and potentials which must be weight and addressed. It is only by exploring all possibilities that the best outcome can be achieved. Chip is a frequent speaker to civic and professional groups regarding his areas of law expertise.

Chip is currently an active member of several legal organizations, including the American Bar Association, the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Oklahoma County Bar Association, and serves on several committees of those organizations.  He was a long-time member of the Probate Code Committee of OBA which proposes legislation to improve and simplify the probate and guardianship laws of Oklahoma.  Of particular enjoyment is service on the OCBA's and OBA's Law Related Education Committees where he teaches school children on the importance of rules, making decisions and contracts. Chip was chairman of the OCBA LRE Committee from 1999 to 2003. In 2003 the committee received the Outstanding Committee Award from the OCBA. He is now Chairman of the OBA LRE Committee.

Also while a member of the OCBA, Chip served on the Lawyer Referral Service Committee, most notably as the Chairman from 1991-1993. Because of his dedication on this committee, Chip was presented with the Service Award from the Oklahoma County Bar Association in 1993.

Outside of the Legal Arena, Chip is an active member of the community, including his role as an active member of the board of directors of Oklahoma City Beautiful. He and his wife Kathy have been married for 41 years. They have two sons, Jay and Stoney and four grandchildren.
