"I enjoy
helping individuals, families and business owners to plan
and enjoy a future they want,
to resolve whatever problems may be standing in their way, whether
it is explaining
the estate planning options available to a couple or individual,
or a business owner who
wants to pass along the business to the next generation as smoothly
as possible." Since
1981, Betty Wood has concentrated her practice in the areas of estate
planning (wills, trusts, durable powers of attorney, premarital
agreements), business planning (initial organization, shareholder agreements, family limited
liability companies, etc.), elder law (legal aspects of aging
including Medicaid long term care benefits, guardianships,
etc.) and probate. Betty was born and raised in Oklahoma
City. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a
Bachelor of Arts in Russian Studies in
1973 and Juris Doctorate in 1980. She was a member of the

Alzheimer’s Association Oklahoma/Arkansas Chapter from 2003 to 2005. Betty
also served on the Oklahoma Attorney
General's Task Force To Improve End-of-Life Care. She
